China Glaze Howl You Doin'

There won't be a new collection from China Glaze this Halloween, only re-realeases of some old colours and sets of polishes. That is why we're having a throwback post to one of their older Halloween collections, Monster's Ball from 2013. China Glaze Howl You Doin' came to my possession thanks to Jelena and I am glad that I had a chance to try it.

China Glaze Howl You Doin' (81490) je tamno-ljubičasti jelly lak ispunjen plavo-ljubičastim i roze šljokicama i zlatasto-bakarnim ljuspicama. Imam dva sloja laka i sloj nadlaka.

China Glaze Howl You Doin' (81490) is dark purple jelly polish with violet-blue and pink glitter and goldy-coppery flakes. Even though it is jelly, it gives decent coverage in two coats, although another one wouldn't go amiss at times. There is quite a lot of glitter so be prepared to either use a peel-off base coat or tu remove it using foil method. You should also be ready to apply several layers of top coat in order to get smooth, even, glossy surface, because this polish dries to a dull finish and glitters, which create a bumpy surface, will soak up top coat. At first a single layer may be enough, but it will set in after a couple of hours and you'll have to add more top coat if you are looking for high gloss. Photos were taken in natural light. I have two coats of polish and a layer of top coat.
